Hue & Harmony: Custom Swatch Creation

Many years ago I had a color analysis with a Color Me Beautiful consultant who determined I was a "winter." My new color palette featured bold, cool jewel tones. No gold jewelry, only silver. Hair color should lean toward ash. No reds or golden shades. Over the years I stuck to my winter palette, collecting silver jewelry and keeping my hair color more ash than golden. I avoided warm colors because they were not in my palette, but something didn't seem right. Jewel tones, black and white, all not flattering. I came across Valora's site last year and decided to have my colors redone. After submitting several makeup-free, daylight photos (torture for me), she provided a thorough analysis and report. Apparently, I am actually a warm spring, mid-spring specifically. Valora's report also featured color charts for clothing, hair and makeup, and wardrobe information. So much info! Based on my new palette, I added fresh, warm colors to my closet and removed what no longer worked. I changed my makeup colors to warmer shades. All of my clothing and makeup are now super flattering. Valora's help didn't end once she finished my analysis. She has emailed updated color charts, answered questions (many), and helped me find a new perfect hair color. She also did an analysis for my husband (early winter), and I have given these as gifts to other family members. Highly recommended!
