Early Spring color types (also called Warm Spring or True Spring in other systems) have medium coloring that is the warm and rich. People with this coloring are often mistaken for Autumns. However, their coloring is brighter overall than the coloring of an Autumn color type.

Coloring Characteristics

Skin Tone

The skin will have a cool (blue/violet undertone) or may appear neutral. Freckles are often seen (but not always) which add warmth to the skin. Skin tones in this category range from very pale to medium-deep.

Eye Colors

Eye colors are warm and bright. Bright blue, aqua, blue-green, bright blue-gray, bright warm gray, green, hazel, amber to bright chocolate or red-brown.

Hair Colors

The hair is warm, rich, and bright. Medium to deep golden blonde, strawberry blonde to bright red, light golden brown to medium-deep golden brown, light auburn to medium bright auburn, light bright to medium bright chestnut brown. As Springs age, their hair will turn soft warm gray, golden-gray, and eventually a pearl or ivory white.
