I am pleased to announce that there are all new makeup guides up on the site for each seasonal color type. I have spent the past 2 weeks completely revamping them so that they are better than ever!
If you are wondering why I even bothered to create these when you could just go to another site and get their seasonal makeup – there are a few good reasons I did take the time to make these available to you.
- Other seasonal makeup is one-size-fits-all and doesn’t take into consideration your individual skin tone. For example, pale-skinned Winter isn’t going to wear the same blush as a Winter with a very deep skin tone.
- Most makeup products contain chemical ingredients that you want to avoid. I have taken the time to research out not only the best colors for your seasonal color type but, which brands are safe for you to use and that I feel good about recommending to you. Clean beauty is important to me and since I am not able to offer you my own makeup line (yet…) this is the next best thing.
So, here is what is new and different about these guides and what sets them apart from the versions I created last year…
New Seasonal Eye Makeup Guides
It’s one thing to know which eye makeup colors look best on you based on your individual eye color, but what about your seasonal color type? If you go on Pinterest you will find all kinds of cool charts on which colors look best on green eyes or blue eyes, however, none of these take into consideration that a green-eyed Spring is not going to wear the exact same shades of eyeshadow as a green-eyed Summer.
This is why I have created eye makeup guides for each eye color and each seasonal color type! There are four guides for each season – blue eyes, brown eyes, green eyes, and hazel eyes. That is 16 guides in total. These guides will help makeup shopping for the exact right shades of brow products, eyeliner, eyeshadow, and mascara for your eye color and color type super fast and easy.
New Seasonal Blush and Bronzer Guides
As I mentioned earlier, someone with light skin is not going to look good in the same blush as someone with a deeper skin tone and vice versa. This is why I have created all new blush and bronzer guides for each color type and for a broad range of skin tones. Each guide is categorized by – fair, medium, and dark or medium-dark for Springs since I have yet to find someone with a very deep skin tone in this seasonal color category (It could happen though).
There are 12 guides all together (3 for each season). So all you have to do is select the right one for your skin tone, and seasonal color type and voila’! Again this just makes finding your best makeup colors a breeze. 🙂
New Seasonal Lipstick and Lip Gloss Guides
You can also get all-new lipstick guides just for your color type. These have been reformatted and the product lists and some of the brands have been updated. They are categorized by – lip liner, lipsticks (nudes, reds, pinks, corals, plums), and lip gloss. Get the perfect pout for your seasonal color type with the help of these lip color guides.
Each guide contains some helpful tips and guidelines and is clearly laid out to help you find what you are looking for. They feature – natural, organic, and cruelty-free makeup brands. All of them are available now in our online shop, so go check them out! 🙂
